Hey everyone! I'm Carly, and I am the face behind Aroma Roots.

I have had a love for candles and wax melts for as long as i can remember. I worked in the spa & beauty industry for 11 years and the aromatherapy and holistic side of things was always where my heart was. I love how different scents can make you feel a certain way so i decided to combine these two passions of mine to create this little venture.

I am a great believer in everything happens for a reason, and if something is meant for you then it will find you. My personal journey has led me to this (believe it or not... this actually came to me in a dream) so here i am following that dream.

I lost my biggest supporter in life (my dad) in 2021 and i felt like i lost my way a little bit with which path to take next. He would always be the one that i would go to for advice and he would always have the answers. So in a crazy way i do believe that my dad is with me through this venture, cheering me on.

I am a mum of two crazy boys and two bouncy cockapoos so to say life is busy is an understatement! So i love nothing more than locking myself away in my little workshop to see what i can come up with next. 

Sustainability & luxury is also at the heart of Aroma Roots. I only use soy wax for my candles and wax melts, as well as using quality fragrance oils and essential oils. I also use recycled packaging where possible because we all need to do our little bit for this beautiful planet that we all call home. All products are handmade by me in my little home workshop in Northumberland.
